Fathers of Folk Rock
Roger McGuinn (the Byrds)
& John Sebastian (Lovin' Spoonful)
Saturday, December 6, 2008 8pm
McGuinn and Sebastian founded the genre of "folk-rock" in the 1960s -- Sebastian with the Lovin' Spoonful (Daydream, Do You Believe in Magic?) and Roger McGuinn as founder of The Byrds (Turn, Turn, Turn; Eight Miles High; Mr. Tambourine Man). McGuinn is credited with developing one of the most recognizable guitar tones in the history of rock and roll. Their "yin & yang" performance chemistry will produce a memorable evening as they perform individual, hit-filled sets and come together for a grand finale.
This performance is SOLD OUT.
